He did my second ankle replacement surgery. My first one done by a different surgeon did not go well and I developed necrosis and lost my talus. I went for my one year check up today. Things are so much better, minimal pain and swelling. I think he is a great surgeon and was very impressed with TOC.
Dr DeOrio did a major surgery on my right foot many years ago that I labeled as my best surgery - 7 hours. Find a nerve that was still working and transfer it across the foot to match the functionality. I could walk again. This time, same foot, same nerve issue. Trying steroids first, then surgery if that doesn’t work. Week later and it is working. More to follow.
