I took a lace-up shoe to AJ because one of the lace hoops had broken. He told me it would take a week. I called a week later and it was ready, just in time for a trip to New Orleans. It looks great! Excellent turnaround time, pricing, and customer service! Thanks, AJ, I will use your services again!
I remember going with my parents as a kid to "The Mall" to take shoes and leather things needing repair to AJ's. For those of you that I just confused let me explain. From 1966 until the early 1980s, The Mall was Huntsville's premiere shopping location. It was located at the intersection of Memorial Parkway and University Drive.. AJ's Shoe Clinic was not far from the fountain inside the mall that us kids loved to throw coins in and make a wish. The Mall's iconic center fountain survived. It's now, minus any water, located as a piece of artwork in the roundabout between Costco and Home Depot in a shopping area now named for it, "The Fountain". THATS how long our family has been using AJ's. He was ALWAYS friendly, professional, had great prices, fast turnaround times, and impeccable craftsmanship...he has magic hands! Still to this day the only thing that changed was his location. He's still that smiling face with the warmest welcome into his shop as soon as the door opens. A true professional that gives quality work and awesome customer service. His work is now blessing my very own family! Thank you AJ for what you do. Lord knows you've saved a few of my favorite shoes and my husband's too!
