I took a beautiful London Fog raincoat in to be shortened. I was charged $50 up front but I thought it was worth it. My mistake I guess because what I got back was awful. It had been shortened but done by machine and puckered !

I had a rush job, 2 pair of pants to be hemmed. She initially told me no but I offered a few extra dollars and she accepted. Getting past the language barrier over the phone was the hardest part. In person, she was gracious, I had no problem understanding her, and the work was impeccable. I will be returning for future alterations.
