Many families enjoy multiple nights a week of learning new skills, gaining confidence, and building lasting friendships. The facility also offers summer camps and an afterschool program, helping children stay active and connected to the community.
We LOVE being a part of the Hoover Action Martial Arts family! I cannot imagine a better group of leaders and classmates to positively influence our family. We started with the afterschool program, then tried a summer camp and now three of our family members are working towards their black belt! We enjoy being there multiple nights a week learning new skills, gaining confidence, developing character, and building lasting friendships. Every month there offer fun activities like parent’s night out, trunk or treat, and Easter hunts that the kids (and their friends) BEG to go to. If you’re looking for a great way to get/stay active and connect with community THIS IS YOUR PLACE ❤️
On June 5th my wife spoke to Jennifer about signing our son up for summer camp the week of July 1st. She said we would be receiving a registration packet in the email. We received an email that day confirming the payment. Since that day we have yet to receive any other email from them. We reached out the week before camp to ask about a registration packet, and they said they would be sending it soon. Days later, after still receiving nothing, we contacted again, and they said maybe it sent to the wrong email. My wife confirmed her email, and then never heard anything back. We never received an email or a text or a call. My wife called them Monday, July 1st. She spoke to someone about the experience and she was quick to apologize. She offered to make it right, but at this point we dont trust them with our son. She said she would have to speak to the owner about a refund. It is now July 4th and we still have not heard from them regarding this issue. The place is not run well and completely disorganized. We have exhausted all other efforts - so review it is! Now, Cameron is messaging her phone about how she will not receive a refund, because this is not a just reason. My wife never signed anything or was made aware of a "no refund policy". This is absolutely ridiculous.
My daughter, son and myself have all advanced several belts at ATA Hoover. Honestly, the skills learned, friendships made and challenges overcome there have been some of the most rewarding ever. Want to learn self defense, become more confident, more disciplined, be stronger and more flexible? Want to do it with a great community of support and kindness and camaraderie? This is the place for you. Cannot recommend ATA Hoover enough.
