My mother was one of the most kind, compassionate, loving, and Godly women that you could have ever met. Losing her, especially so suddenly, has been one of the hardest times of my life. I wanted nothing but the absolute best for my precious mom, and that’s exactly what Collier-Butler Funeral Home gave me. I could never truly put into words and express my appreciation for the staff of Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Cody Neely and Paulette Chandler came to the hospital to bring mom into their care. I was met with grace, compassion, and understanding. They felt my pain and cared for me and my dad with gentleness. I felt such a peace knowing my mom was being cared for with the amount of dignity and respect that they were showing my family. Cody took care of my mother’s preparation, hair, and cosmetics. I have never seen anyone look so much like their self as my mom did. That’s exactly what every single person said when they saw my mom at her visitation. She was absolutely beautiful. The level of care and attention to detail was incredible. Every little thing was thought of! Cody even went the extra mile to have his hairdresser come in and color my mom’s hair, and even went to the store and helped us pick at clothes/jewelry for her to wear. He suggested little details like using my mom’s personal nail polish and bringing in her lotion/perfume to really make us feel my mom completely. This experience alone is something I will always hold dear to my heart. The arrangement meeting with Cody was truly a time of understanding and awareness. He listened to me and my dad fully and held to every word we said. Nothing was forgotten! Jill Bouldin, Dale Butler, and Austin Hook are other staff members I will forever be thankful for. Jill could see my pain, and simply hugged me the day of the service. She gave me the love of a mother I was so desperately needing to feel in that moment. Dale Butler met us with grace at the door and comforted us with words of Faith. I really was worried about my dad and was worried about caring for him while trying to grieve myself. Austin Hook took him under his wing and kept his spirits high the entire time. The service was everything I could have ever imagined for my mom. The details through the personal decor was truly a perfect touch. We wanted live music, and Cody so graciously offered to sing. It was exactly what we needed to hear. Every single staff member were truly amazing. Cody Neely will forever have a place in the hearts of my family and myself. He is without question the best funeral director. What we noticed is this is not a job for him, but a calling on his life. Even though we have laid my mother to rest, Collier-Butler has still continued to show true care and concern for our family. I will forever be grateful and could never express enough of my appreciation. Collier-Butler is defined as Dignity, Respect, Consideration, Compassion, Understanding, and Attentiveness. Thank you Cody Neely and Collier-Butler Funeral Home!

What a wonderful professional caring place. So efficient at every aspect of service. I’ve arranged the set up of the visitation room and of memory tables for many friends and they could not be more helpful. If they are in charge you have nothing to worry about.
