“I walked into Mythic today on a whim, I needed to cut off my dead ends and I googled LGBTQ friendly hair salons in the Birmingham area. I couldn’t be more thankful that I ended up at Mythic with Shai. The atmosphere was immediately welcoming, my first interaction was in the parking lot! I was a walk-in and she immediately got me in for a quick cut. Shai even noticed my anxiety and checked in to make sure I was comfortable. The whole experience was both professional and personable, she asked questions and made recommendations based on my thick curly hair. My hair feels and looks great! To top it off, Shai and I had spoken about my child having some recent struggles with mental health, and she gave me some information on local supports when we were done. This brought me to tears. Completely not necessary, but unbelievably kind. Mythic Salon is the place to support ?“

“We had an amazing experience for my toddlers first haircut. I did mine first to show him how it is done and he was extremely interested in the process. After that, we set him on my lap and she cut his hair. Chantelle was great and had a lot of expertise. Awesome conversation and well worth the visit! We will be coming back!“

April was so kind and helpful with my appointment planning and scheduling. And Emma K was just hands down the best hair stylist you could ask for!
