Cullman Veterinary Hospital PC is known for its caring and compassionate staff. Many clients appreciate the thorough examinations and effective treatments provided by Dr. Bonds, which have brought relief to worried pet owners. The staff takes time to ensure pets are comfortable, with some visits including humanely euthanizing pets with kindness and care. For example, Dr. Kessler spent a significant amount of time with a pet owner during a difficult goodbye, offering support and even sending a sympathy card with a paw print. Customers also praise the friendly and loving attitude of the vet techs, who make pets feel relaxed during visits. The hospital’s staff is dedicated to providing quality care for pets, even during challenging times. While some clients mention that prices can be high, the overall experience is highly recommended for the friendly service and genuine support offered.
They are open until noon on Saturdays. My cat had a lump which had started growing rapidly on her side 😢 They squeezed me in that Saturday without complaint. Vet was very kind and a straight-shooter. She estimated my cat had about six months at the outside, as she'd seen this before. I couldn't let my baby suffer, so we decided to let her go 😭 They offer pet cremation with a third-party. Everyone there was sympathetic and helpful. I have switched my remaining cat to them.
We have utilized Cullman Veterinary Hospital for more then 43 years. We generally utilize the services of the owner Dr Steve Murphree. He has taken care of our cats and dogs. We have used them for check ups, diagnosis, prescriptions, surgery, allergies, etc.We have found Cullman Veterinary Hospital to only do the services that are required and don't try to push extra tests on you. We have also found their pricing to be fair.
I can’t recommend this vet enough. Dr. Kessler was patient and kind throughout my cats illness. They were so sweet when it was time to put her down. There was no cost and they even sent a card later with her paw and nose prints. Highly recommend!! The staff is awesome!!
