I am from South Carolina. I was taken to every urgent care in Jasper of whom non would see me. Then my relative took me to Carbon hill family. My wait time was only in filling out my paperwork and having to wait for tests to see if I had covid. ( Thankfully not) . They took my insurance without question. Front desk was very friendly, I will say the 2 girls that did the initial overall what is wrong thing could have been a teeny but friendly, it felt very cold . Taken to a room, shortly after Ashlie came in , no covid. Checked my ears , asked some questions. I was so comfortable with her, she cared that I felt total horrid. We use CHFC often for our regular sicknesses but this time, I'm 17 weeks pregnant and was severely dehydrated, along with a bladder infection. I couldn't get in with my doctor so I came here and they took amazing care of me. Their room for fluids is far better than you'd get at the hospital and they double checked all medication being prescribed to make sure they were safe for my baby. When you feel this bad, having some where to go to be taken care of makes the situation easier. I can't thank them enough!
Have been here several times when sick and can’t get to my primary care doctor in Birmingham. They’ve always taken great care of me and been fast and friendly. Thrilled to have such a great office close by.
