i tried to fix a slow draining bathroom sink myself using some youtube videos andended up breaking the plastic trap underneath andwater went everywhere. called these guys because I was in over my head. the plumber cleared the actual clog which was justa bunch of hair, and replaced the plastic pieces ibroke. probably should have just called them first instead of wasting my saturday.
I kept hearing our guest bathroom toilet running randomly in the middle of the night. It wasn't constantly running, just every hour or so it would sound like it was refilling. I figured it was wasting water so I finally decided to get someone to look at it. The guy from Jeff Beaty came by and said the flapper inside the tank was warped and the fill valve was pretty old. I don't really know much about plumbing but he showed me the worn out parts before he threw them away to explain why it was leaking. He replaced the whole inside mechanism in maybe 20 minutes.
