I found Brittany via a Google search for natural stylists in Birmingham. I needed a hair appointment over the Christmas break while visiting family and luckily she had an appointment. Brittany's work was phenomenal. I've never had a natural style last two weeks! I received so many compliments on my hair. I highly recommend her. I got the finger coils
They are pricey, but their professionalism, atmosphere, and services are well worth the price. The ambience is as calm as an Afrocentric spa: soft lofi/jazz playing in the background, essential oils, recliners and hair steamers at the shampoo bowl. Most importantly, they describe your damaged hair in such an educational, uplifting, considerate tone that makes you hopeful over your hair journey! No snickering, side-eyes, or shaming at Swoope Hair! Wish I could afford to go more often.

I haven't been here in a couple of years, and I miss this place so much that I wanted to give them a well-earned review. All of the stylists here are great at their craft. What makes this place special are the vibes. Everyone is funny and down to earth. It's a place I went to for hair care and self-care. When I first had my baby, they were so accommodating and patient when I had to pump. This place gave me some much needed "girl time" that exuded positivity. I live too far now to book an appointment, but I wish this establishment and the stylists the best.
