I had a fantastic experience at Smith's Opticians! Xavier was incredibly helpful and patient. He took the time to order three different types of multi-focus contacts for me to try out, making sure I found the perfect pair. I appreciate their local ownership and convenient location next to my ophthalmologist's office. Highly recommended!

Hidden gem in Birmingham. Been by there for 3 different type of custom frames over there years. First off, Xavier was the person I worked with when figuring out if it was possible to get these frames refitted. He’s top notch & the best. He was informative, patient & kind.

One of the frames I got was with glass, not plastic lenses. The other 2 frames are antique wireframe type that aren’t usual and they were able to make it work way over my expectations. I’ve got thicker lenses and they made it happen. Also, Xavier told me about HD lenses and thought I’d give it a go and it was well worth it. Wish I’d known about that before. I live out of state but was passing through the area when I had sudden need of an optician. Smith’s was the best! They helped me right away, were empathetic, fast and went above and beyond. Highly recommend.
