I visited Auburn Mixed Martial Arts today for their Sunday Open Mat, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Professor Randall greeted me as soon as I walked in and immediately made me feel welcome. The facility is spotless, well-maintained, and has a professional yet friendly atmosphere. Everyone I met was polite, respectful, and made me feel right at home. I had the chance to train with people at all belt levels, and never once felt out of place or uncomfortable. Professor Randall was also on the mats, sharing his knowledge and even inviting me to roll with him, which was an amazing opportunity. Our child has been a member going on 3 months now. His confidence, grades, and overall attitude have improved. The coaches are so thorough and I like that they teach morals in every class.
I was traveling but still wanted to be consistent with my training. I reached out to Auburn MMA and they let me drop in and train with them. The head instructor is great at breaking down the techniques, and the students show quality skill. I would heartily recommend this school if you are interested in jujitsu.
