Petco is our preferred pet store in the valley, they often have nice staff, and a pretty decent selection of everything for us and our pugs. I will say that sometimes the store can feel a little ransacked and is missing things and we can see where they used to be available. They have a good selection of dog treats and toys, but some of the treats are either unhealthy for dogs or are six times more expensive than you could get online or at Costco. They are a great resource if you are in the valley and can't make a trip into Anchorage, I wish their variety would increase but we like the staff and what they do have.

We went to get a new hamster. My daughters passed away a few months ago, and she was ready for a new friend. Not only were the people SO KIND while she was deciding, they let her chat about all things hamster in the meantime. We now have an adorable new friend, and my daughter felt like they took the animals well being really seriously.

Polarbear has gone to this location 5 time for grooming. Twice a kid name Claire has done a great job on my wife's puppy. Thank you for you good work. And caring for her puppy.
