Lane Family Dental is amazing. I have been to a lot of dentists over the years, and they rank #1 on my list. I have had root canals and crowns done by Dr. Lane with really no pain at all. I even had to ask them last time to work a little harder to remind me that this is still the dentist. I highly recommend Lane Family Dental and all their staff.
I have been seeing Dr. Lane for a few years now and he is an EXCEPTIONAL dentist. He just recently helped me through a very stressful, painful and difficult time. I had moved out of Wasilla a couple years ago to take a new job in Anchorage and to avoid taking PTO from work and the commute back out to Wasilla, I decided to go with a new dentist provider. Long story short, that dentist had recommended a crown on a live tooth as a preventative measure of which I followed through with. Following that I had excruciating, significant pain with eating and drinking, sensitivity to hot and cold, even room temperature water! After returning to that dentist to have the pain addressed and not getting anywhere, I returned to Dr. Lane in Wasilla who did a thorough consult, found the issues, provided clear explanations to these and next steps to fixing the problem. I decided to have Dr. Lane re-do the crown in hopes to have the pain resolved. One of the problems Dr. Lane found was that my tooth had been shaved down SO close to the pulp horn of my nerve which was one of the reasons for my pain. So I was pretty nervous to have the crown re-done only because I knew the work to be done would be right on top of that nerve. This was a long procedure and I was pretty anxiety ridden for fear of a lot of pain to come with it, but Dr. Lane and his team were amazing at making sure I was the most comfortable I could be and took very good care of me during this time. Dr. Lane did his work on top of that tooth and it wasn't as excruciating as I thought it'd be and I wasn't very sore afterwards showing how great he is at his skill of work. Following this procedure, after the novocaine wore off, my symptoms had SIGNIFICANTLY improved. I was able to drink iced water with no searing pain, I was able to eat chips and other hard foods with moderate/mild soreness. It took a few weeks for it to fully calm down, but I now have my quality of life back thanks to Dr. Lane. I don't have to worry about what or when I eat in fear I'll be in pain for hours and cannot sleep. Dr. Lane and his entire staff have always been caring, kind, helpful, and professional. The clinic is very clean, has beautiful aesthetics and is a very comfortable environment. I had always had anxiety and nerves worked up when I had to go to the dentist but going here, this has very much subsided. I HIGHLY recommend Lane Family Dental for your dental care needs and to stick with them! I could move to Fairbanks and would keep him as my dental provider.
