About Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center
The Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center offers a great atmosphere and customer service. Customers appreciate the daily 50% and 75% off discounts on different tags. However, some feel the prices on certain items, especially higher-end products, are too high. Suggestions include offering higher discounts for seniors, military personnel, first responders, and college students, as well as extending store hours and implementing a rewards program for frequent shoppers. Overall, the store provides a pleasant shopping experience, and customers can find deals if they are knowledgeable and browse carefully.
The couple times I've been in here, it hasn't been unpleasant. The first time, a few weeks ago, I was looking for straps for sling bags and I asked 2 associates and they had no idea what I was talking about. The third did and pointed me in the right direction. Today, I bought a necklace for the glass beads on a .925 chain and only paid $1. So I was happy with that.
I like that Goodwill offers two discount colored tag a week. One color tag is 50% off and the other color tag is 75% off. The staff here is almost always so nice, friendly and helpful. What I dislike is that they've been raising their prices on a lot of things. But it is still my go-to thrift store tho.
Prices are very high. It’s cheaper to buy clothes at target and Walmart. I feel it shouldn’t be this way. Also used books are very expensive. Local thrift store have better prices.
