The Alaska Raptor Center is not only a great place to learn about and admire birds of prey, but it's also an important place to pay attention to and support conservation. Recommended for anyone interested in animals and nature to visit!
It was incredible to get up close and personal with a bald eagle — even though there was a screen between us, just looking closely made it feel like we were face-to-face. An unforgettable experience that gave me a true appreciation.
Nice experience with birds at various stages of rehabilitation. Went here as part of a cruise package so not sure about the cost. Nice restrooms and gift shop. No snacks.
The indoor training area had 6-7 birds getting ready to be released. Very educational.
