For some reason, my original post showed my location as California. Not sure how this happened, but I am located in Anchorage. Adams Family Painting gave me a quote to paint my residential home using a Sherwin Williams product called Duration. Duration has a lifetime warranty against peeling and blistering. When the paint started to peel I called them and asked to have the peeling paint repaired. He sent a "subcontractor" who wanted to charge me for the work. Adams would not honor the warranty. A local factory rep came to the house to resolve the problem. He inspected the paint cans left by Adams and discovered that Adams substituted Duration with a product called Resilience. He said that Resilience does not offer a lifetime warranty and that Duration is not available in Alaska because of the harsh weather conditions. The factory rep also stated that the peeling was caused by the paint not being applied properly. Sherwin Williams provided the paint to fix the peeling but Adams would not provide the labor. Bait and switch by Adams. Do not use this company.

Painters were recommended by friends and boy were they perfect!! They came when they promised, crew were friendly and conscientious about my plants, animals and property. The owner was easily contacted and supervised as needed. I would contract their company for my future needs!!

Hired them for the exterior of a duplex. They were highly professional, worked with the tenants, did not leave a mess, and finished in a timely manner. I would highly recommend to others.

Adams Family Painting has done my whole interior of my Eagle River home. They estimate fairly, they get it right and their follow through is professional. Highly recommended.
