We had Schmolck install our heat pump last spring. They did a fantastic job with a slightly custom installation for the line set. Both the stand and the shed roof they provide for the outdoor compressor are excellent, a lot better than I have seen with other installers. The heat pump has run great all summer, fall and through the winter, including a lengthy deep cold snap in December, keeping our home warm. The staff are very responsive and helpful and very knowledgeable about the work they do. I definitely recommend them.
My daughter's water pipes burst and she was without water for a few days over a holiday weekend. We contacted Schmolck and even though they were very busy and my daughter lives on a hill (hard to navigate with the ice on the ground), they came to her house the next day and fixed the problem quickly. I couldn't be happier with their service. Thanks so much Schmolck!
I have had to contact Schmolk on 2 seperate occasions for plumbing assistance, both of which I have had exceptionally great experiences.The first was during the big Christmas pipe freeze of 2021 where I believe it was Mike who talked me through saving my pipes from bursting and without having to pay for after hour services or even a consultation although he spent part of his Christmas helping me over the phone. My water heater also was pouring from the electrical panel on the side of the water heater and his assistance before I was able to get it replaced (the next day!) eased my worries of a further issues with the pipes bursting or electrical fires or other possible... read full review
