I spent a few months of researching reviews and talking to people before I decided on who to go to for a dramatic change in my hair care, style, and color. I called places from Homer to Wasilla. Ultimately landed on Studio 164 which was great for me because it was local, but I was more than willing and expecting to have to travel. I am so glad I found this establishment. Very knowledgeable and patient with me as I worked through what I wanted vs what I needed. I left with some amazing products that I have been using for some time now and my hair (and skin) is super soft and healthy. I love the color we did and I get a lot of compliments. While I was there they got a call that they won Salon of the year and I totally get it and agree with that win!
Both artists are amazing and made me feel very comfortable. The Art is also stunning and I try to go back every chance I get!

Kyenna is an incredibly talented hair stylist. She did my wedding hair along with a trial run and she knocked it out of the park. I had never had my hair done professionally before and Kyenna expertly walked me through the process. I had wanted my hair partially down on my wedding day but after my trial we both agreed that having my hair up would work better. She gave me an incredible updo with some curled front sections and the style lasted all day throughout my entire wedding. Kyenna is professional, talented, and amazing to work with. I would recommend her to all of my friends and family. Trust Kyenna with your wedding hair.
I’ve been getting my nails done @ hometown nails since 2022, & have never had a more professional experience. Nhi is so artistic, & creates the most beautifully strong & sexy designs. She put real dried flowers in my ring fingers this time! Her creations aren’t just artistic, they last for at least a month w/out touch ups (even these long, sharp fierce ones = my favorite styles). I can’t recommend Nhi with hometown nails highly enough ?
I've yet to see a job they've done go bad. Beautiful business lots and roads. Where I worked, we left at 8p and came back at 5a and the entire parking lot went from ruts to perfection!

Karen was the first person to actually address the care my skin needed & teach me how to take care of it properly for a lifetime. The staff has always taken excellent care of me & made me feel special! Mila’s facial’s with the mini massage is one of my favorites! I just had my first massage with Kristen & I feel so relaxed- she took my stress away! I felt it leaving my body. If you haven’t seen Goldie for your eyebrows, you’re missing out, I love all you ladies!

After waiting 3 days for exotic eye tattoo to get back to us with an appointment time I decided to message Peter Degraffenried, and I am glad I did! He was able to take a rough lookin reference photo and turn it into the image I had in my head. If you are in the Homer area I would definitely recommend checking him out!
