I had a friend come from out of town and wanted to get an alaska tattoo. It was her 1st time here. She called around a lot of places and Darrell (the new owner of this shop) was able to get her in and get it done. He was professional and friendly. He explained why the tattoo had to be bigger than she wanted (due to it being in color). It was a great experience, great price, and great looking tattoo. I myself will get a tattoo from him too.

The only place I recommend anyone get a tattoo in Anchorage. Darrel is the best you can get, extremely professional and flexible. He will take your idea and make it even better bringing out the best in what you want tattooed. I’ve had over 40 hours in the chair with him and will likely never go anywhere else again. Tatau Alaska is the only place I can recommend to anyone that wants to get a tattoo in Alaska. Lui is a skilled master at his craft. His work is exceptional. He did a pretty large piece on my back that is truly a work of art. I would not hesitate to get a tattoo from Lui or any of his fine colleagues.
