“We contacted Mason's at the beginning of the year and they were able to fit us in - most companies are a year + out, but Mason's worked with us this year to help repair damage from ice dams and poor construction and avoid additional damage. This was also great because our single family home is a Cape Cod style 3 story and most contractors won't work on it as the building is in their words too tall.Our team was extremely competent, punctual, and hard working in difficult conditions. They would point out issues from ice damage, leaks, water pooling, and then not just replace the siding - they also methodically fixed the underlying issues, then applied house wrap (something that was not code at the time of the build), then replaced all the siding and even gave us the option to add sound proofing to one side and a new window on our living room level. Our foreman confessed that the supplier had sent an upgrade to our siding order and we were pleased to learn that Masons, unlike some other local contractors, did not pass along the increased costs to us. Over the period of 6+ weeks the team contacted us almost daily if they were going to be out or late because of snow or high wind, they took us around and showed us the issues that they were correcting and how the new siding would address the issues. We tried to check in with them daily - but if we missed they were quick to send us a text and let us know about any issues. When the massive double snow falls hit us almost back to back in mid November - they worked with us to help clear areas and ensure that utility teams had access to gas, electric, communications, etc. At the conclusion of their project - the house was noticeably warmer, had no leaks in the areas we were repairing from the inside, and was much quieter than before. Mason's not only earned our trust with quality workmanship but also by being excellent and knowledgeable contractors.
