We had my dad taken here after he passed away in the hospital because many years ago, when it was family owned, it was a wonderful business. However, when we needed to switch mortuaries the next day and the other place was going to pick him up, Kehl's told my mom (after just losing her husband of 60 years) that they wouldn't release my dad's body until they got paid $450 for just picking him up from the hospital. That is an insane amount!!! BEWARE that if you use Kehl's for your loved one and change your mind for ANY reason, they will hold your loved one's body hostage until they get their ransom!

Overall, Kehl's provided good service during a difficult time. Emails and phone calls were returned promptly. The funeral director Jaymie communicated the process and provided updates often. The only issue I had was regarding their website. Placement of a photo on the obituary and live stream link was not simple. It must not be user friendly on their end for uploading and editing. For example, my daughters photo was uploaded sideways and a ticket had to be submitted to their site to have her photo turned upright. CROOKS!!!! EVERYONE BEWARE!!!!! This place is so terrible! We had a death in the family and one of their funeral directors Nelson helped us. It was cool until we found a cheaper mortuary that allowed us more ppl in the hall for the viewing. Not only did they quickly charge us for embalming and transferring my sisters body but became very difficult to get a hold of to refund us the rest of our deposit. Very unprofessional! We've called and sent multiple emails with no response. So on top of planning our sister's funeral we gotta worry about this also. Do yourself a favor and don't come to this place. Sympathy goes out the window when you don't use them
