Previously working with the VA, I have professionally worked parallel with this office and they were always helpful, understanding and patient with me and the veterans. During my time with the VA, I became pregnant (2019) with our first and decided to use AkWH as my OBGYN provider office. Throughout the entire pregnancy, birthing and Postpartum I was completely comfortable and grateful for going with them. They do have a great selection of providers to choose from; upon my first visit, it was suggested to me to have one visit per provider so I am familiar with their personalities and I can gain a sense of comfort in knowing that ONE of them would be delivering my baby- some might get annoyed with this but I am SO happy I did this. There is rarely a chance that I was able to choose who would be delivering so this was the next best step. Fast forward to today and now a Stay-at-home mom (2021), my husband and I are planning to have a second baby next yr and I already know whom I'd like to work with! Not like that matters because, like I said, they are all wonderful. Receptionists are always patient with me, nurses have always been awesome and the phlebotomists were so awesome and quick with the blood draws. I can definitely say that I have and will continue to recommend this office to any woman in the area.
