If I could give a 6 star review I would. I have brought multiple vehicles to Joel and his team and every time they come out better than I brought them in. Prices are fair and the work is top notch. You won't find a more honest mechanic this side of the Mississippi, in fact I am not even certain he is a mechanic, he might be an angel sent from Heaven disguised in coveralls.

Our van had a brake issue on the road. Ace did really good services as well as comprehensive inspeciton along with road tests. We got the detailed reports. Ace charged for basic only. We were very lucky and thanks to Ace we were able to go on our trip. Big Thanks! Julia

I have nothing but great words to say about Joel and his crew at Ace Automotive, they did an awesome job getting my oil change done and did a free vehicle inspection with your first oil change explaining to me what work needs to be done. if you want honest and reliable work done on your vehicle, Ace automotive is the place! I would Recommend them 1000%. We had issues with insurance in the past that subcontracted to them. After many years, we found out that Joel and his team are HONEST and do their DUE DILIGENCE! Absolutely Phenomenal services and integrity. We are so happy to have Joel and his team take care of our fleet and would not hesitate to recommend him to any one in our area. If anyone had any issues here, would suggest approaching Joel directly, and know without a doubt he would be able to get the issues resolved! THANK YOU JOEL! Just had our truck looked at. Won't go into details here, but it was a VERY minor fix that Joel (owner of ACE) charged us under $80 to fix. Other mechanics in town wanted $600 and just over $800. I thought that was too much so gave Joel a shout and our truck was in within 3 business days. The woman at the front counter was friendly (didn't catch her name or would mention it). They also performed a thorough bonus inspection for free checking various components of the truck. We will be bringing our small 4 truck fleet here to be serviced moving forward.
Estimates and invoices are sent digitally.
In my opinion, I received the best automotive service available in Lacombe today and would encourage others to give ACE a try moving forward.

Joel at Ace Automotive has been my go-to mechanic for over 10 years now—man, does that make me feel old! 🤣 But hey, when you find someone who’s 100% honest, reliable, and actually takes the time to explain what’s going on under the hood, you stick with them.
Joel and his team always provide quick turnaround times, solid advice, and never hit you with hidden costs. He’ll never try to sell you blinker fluid, a left-handed wrench, or a muffler bearing—but he might joke about it just to see if you bite! If you want a mechanic you can trust, Joel's your guy. As long as I live in central AB, Ace Auto is the only shop for me—till death (or an engine rebuild) do us part!

I came in at the end of the work day with my bumper falling off and ace auto got me in first thing the next morning. we were able to get to get to our destination. without the huge help we would have missed out on our trip had we had to wait to get in some where else. I can not recommend ace auto enough. they care and are the best in my opinion in lacombe. highly suggest using their services as it's an honest and amazing shop.
