A shoutout to Sam at Gibbons Barber! After reading the experience of another customer, I paid Sam a visit from Bon Accord, and wow was I impressed, so much so I’m choosing to switch to supporting him. There’s five qualities I found in Sam that I wanted to share and reasons I’d recommend him. He has technical skills at cutting hair well. He listened attentively to what I was looking for in a cut. He has great communication skills that translate into a great haircut! His attention to detail was evident from the time he took to make sure my haircut was even and polished with no stray hairs, even with my beard. I found his level of customer service to be very friendly and a professional demeanor. I was completely comfortable and felt very welcome in the chair that translated into a very positive experience. Lastly, as a personal service business, first impressions are everything, and the cleanliness of the shop and his hygiene and that of his tools was well-maintained. From the moment I stepped foot into his business, there was a positive vibe and atmosphere in his shop. For those reasons, I’ll be a returning customer and take advantage of his loyalty card. The value for the service was more than fair, in fact I felt he short changed himself and generously tipped to make up the difference.
