In February, I began experiencing severe sciatica and difficulty walking. I was initially treated by another chiropractor at the clinic who started a simple but effective plan. When he went on leave, I was referred to Aidon Sloan to continue that care.

At first, Aidon followed the original plan and I improved significantly—I could bend again and was returning to daily life. But at my third visit, after sharing my progress, he abruptly told me I’d never bend again or return to my previous condition, and that I’d have to live cautiously from now on. He then abandoned the approach that was working and used a treatment that felt harsh and inappropriate. Completely reversing all the progress I had made.

I left the office in tears, in more pain than when I arrived. Since then, my condition has drastically declined. I haven’t been able to walk properly, and nothing I’ve tried has helped. What should have been a continuation of healing turned into the start of long-term, debilitating pain.

This experience has severely impacted my health and quality of life.

I have been going to the Edson Family Chiropractic clinic for over 20 years for various different treatments, the main one being chiropractic adjustment and neuromobilization but I have also done accupuncture, massage, craniosacral therapy and physiotherapy as well. Everyone here is so friendly, knowlegable and professional and provide excellent patient care from the moment you walk in the door. Specifically Dr.Mark Sloan has gone above and beyond helping me work through several different health issues over the years and has been an absolute god send. His whole family (some of whom also work in the clinic) are wonderful people who would give the shirt off their backs to help someone in need. I don't know where i'd be without the treatments I have received here and will continue to come here for as long as I possibly can. There aren't enough words for me to even come close to properly expressing my gratitude for this clinic and its amazing staff and practicioners!!
