During my time in engineering, we went to Thomas Skinner to get informed on some equipment. The guys here were extremely knowledgable and very helpful. They helped us find the lathe mill necessary for our project, and gave us all the catalogues we needed to finish everything off. Overall it was a great experience meeting these guys, and if I ever get the chance to deal with them again in industry, I will.

Me and a classmate decided to meet up and see what this place had to offer. We were not disappointed. We saw various lathes, mills, metalworking saws, and other metalworking equipment. Some conventional, others CNC.Although I have a preference to what kind of machines I want to use, I learned a lot of things useful to our field.When we were just about ready to leave, I asked for and received/ took several Sandvik Coromont, Morse Cutting Tool, and Thomas Skinner Hardcover catalogues, and some Haas and Mitotoyo literature on their current machinery lineup.I was expecting a much bigger showroom, but these guys were very professional.
