“My experience with Fair and Square was spectacular from start to finish. Of my 4 quotes, they were the only company to come and actually get up on the roof to inspect, provided shingle samples we could use for comparison, excellent communication (including while the job was ongoing) and workmanship. The installation price was very fair as well. However, the biggest reason I am taking the time to write a review is because of damage that occurred when a sub contractor delivered the shingles. There was a small dent to my eavestrough and the Fair and Square team went above and beyond to ensure that was fixed better than new! For all of these reasons, I would recommend this company.“

“We just got a standing seam roof, facia, soffit, and gutters from I-Roof and we couldn’t be more pleased. It looks great, and it will last a lifetime.
Ilya showed me a number of options in the way of beautiful metal shingles that look like cedar shake, terracotta tiles, and other decorative shapes, but I went with standing seam to make solar panel installation easier in the future. I did go for the optional 1X3 strapping underneath and I would highly recommend it. Ilya said it would cut down the noise, and boy did it ever! Plus in our case I like that there’s some fresh structure to generally add some strength to the roof. We haven’t had hail yet, but I think it’s quieter in rain than the asphalt shingles were. The crew that worked on it endured the hottest weather we’ve had all summer and still worked hard from start to finish. They were awesome.

“Back in 2015 we hired True North Exteriors to replace our 30-year-old shingles. This new company provided a modest quote and lived by it, installing high-end product on our large complex roof in a single day. Apart from how quietly they worked, a thing that really impressed us was the care taken to comb through our gardens and lawn at the end of the day for any errant nails and debris that may have fallen. Ten years on (2025) we were hit by a downblast that tore away a 4-foot strip of cap shingles along the highest ridge of our roof. We contacted True North (owner Yan) and within days two of True North’s experienced staff arrived fully-prepared to fix the problem with replacement shingles of the same rare type, precut to form a new cap strip, all again at a very reasonable price. In our opinion, True North is true craftsmanship and true service.“
