My family and I all have had great experiences bringing our instruments here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have been able to fix some of the issues we had with our instruments and keep us all sounding great. I highly recommend Myhre's Music for all our stringed musician friends!

After my recent trade in and purchase of a new Martin, I will never go back into Long & McQuade again. The shop is small but has a surprisingly large inventory of quality acoustic instruments. Do not let the location fool you. They are pleasant to deal with, unlike the miserable employees at l&M. Locally owned is the icing on the cake. They treat everyone who walks into their store with respect and kindness. They even threw in a humidifier for me free of charge. It’s worth a drive from anywhere in the city if you have acoustic needs. Great place owned and ran by a great family. Highly recommend!

I went to Myhre’s music to find a guitar for my husband’s birthday and did my research to see what store to go to because I wanted the best for the best husband. Myhre’s sounded perfect (just like the guitars they sell :)) family owned, small shop with great people. Somehow still far exceeded my high expectations. The gentleman that greeted me was so very kind and so was Tanner who helped pick out the perfect guitar (he was right about the Collings guitar being THE one) for my husband - even with my very slender knowledge about guitars, patiently helped me without making me feel dumb and genuinely educated me about everything from the lore of the guitars... read full review
