I bought my upright here in 2013. No better shop in Edmonton. We're in Victoria BC now, but if I needed a second bass I'd consider flying in to check their shop out.

Went there today with my banjolele as i am a beginner and was having problems with the tuning. Both gents there took a look at it and was able to diagnose the problem, fix it, and teach me a few things about playing as well. They have 10/10 customer service and friendliness and at no point did I feel like I was not as important just because I have only been playing for six months. You can really tell they have a passion for what they are selling and that they want to share their love of music with others. If you are looking for an acoustic instrument with people who are lifelong music lovers who want you to be a music lover as well, Myhre's is the place to go.
