I have known this clinic for more than a decade when saw Simon for my shoulder problems. Lately for past 2+ years I came back to this clinic for my shoulder problem as pain was not going away despite seeing another physio at another clinic. Explained it to Carmen, admin staff who booked the appointment with Emily, Physiotherapist on same day. I have all good words for Emily. She fixed my shoulder, which after the ultrasound we learned that there was a tear. I have been seeing her since then for any issues I come across. She fixed my wrist issue and very lately for my back when I got sprain in spinal. It was very challenging because I was not functional at all, but her consistency, professionalism and dedication is amazing. Treatment plan, Rehab exercises and follow ups made it easy to recover. It is not just Emily, Carmen and Natalia at front desk are fabulous. Easy to accommodate and getting an appointment is easy. I highly recommend Emily and this clinic for physio needs.

I booked an appointment for 3 pm and I got there at 3. I filled out the forms and everything the day before and sent it to them. No one told me the clinic is inside a sports centre and you have to go through bunch of kiosks before getting to the clinic! When I got to the clinic it was 3:03. The physiotherapist (Emily) refused to see me!!! And asked me to reschedule because the assessment takes time!!! This was so shocking to me. Very unprofessional.

I've been attending Kinsmen Sports Clinic off and on, recently mostly on for many years. Couldn't ask for better care. Cheerful and friendly receptionist, and an equally cheerful, friendly and very competent therapist (Jenny). If I have to have a problem I love coming here.

I had been struggling with knee pain for months, which completely sidelined my running. After seeing several professionals without relief, I finally visited Jenny. During her assessment, she quickly pinpointed the root cause of my pain. Her rehabilitation sessions were not only effective but also tailored to my needs. Thanks to her expertise and support, I was able to successfully run my half marathon in just four months! I can't thank her enough!

If you are dealing with a MVA (motor vehicle accident), steer clear of this place. It's taken me a long time to have the courage to write this review because of the mental toll it's taken on me and my family. I am puzzled at their reviews, given the ethics and integrity of this place. If you want a detailed and honest review about the terrible experience we had, read on.
My mother was in 2 car accidents last summer. The first in July, and second in August when she was in the passenger side of my car when I was T-boned. Both times the cars were totalled, so needless to say, the injuries were bad. We were referred to Jenny by my mom's family doctor because she was able to speak Chinese. After a month of seeing her, I was advised by my massage therapist to switch, and thank God I did. I spent 30mins driving there, while my longest appointments lasted for 15mins. Jenny would dry needle me, then send me off. Or once, she just put a hot pack on my back, and told me to lay there for as long as I wanted, then she moved onto her next patient. I wasn't given any excersie routines, or any sort of treatment plan to help me recover from whiplash. I quickly learned that this is what they call a "farmhouse physio". Where they charge lots, but book patients every 15mins to maximize profit. I ended up switching to REP physio upon another referral after 1 month of no improvement at Kinsmen, and they have been a dream. I had spent 1.5h being assessed on my first appointment, tests done to me that were not done in Kinsmen. During this appointment with my new physio, I learned that I had been MISDIAGNOSED by Jenny as a WAD1 when I should have been WAD2. Thankfully, because my new physio and my family doctor had both diagnosed me correctly as a WAD2, I was able to change my diagnosis with the insurance company. From here, I began to recover thanks to the help of REP physio.
My mom on the other hand, although I had tried to encourage her to switch, she decided to stay with Jenny because of the language barrier. Months pass, and her physical and mental health was declining. One appointment in March, Jenny tells my mom, "sorry, I can't do anything for you anymore to get better." Hearing this, obviously my mom's anxiety skyrockets. She was left believing that she will live out the rest of her life in pain, and that she will never recover. My mom loses sleep, and weight due to stress. She weighed 70 pounds at her lowest. To make matters worse, after only 7 months since the accidents, Jenny decides to email our insurance company, insisting that my mom should be scheduled an IME. For those who don't know, an IME is a medical exam that the insurance company books victims in car accidents after at least 1 year of treatment. This exam is placed so that the doctors that work with the insurance companies can say, "oh, they're good, they don't need treatment." So that the insurance company can cut them off of treatments. And this is exactly what happened to my mom. After less than a year since 2 major car accidents, my mom has been cut off of her treatments thanks to Jenny. Oh, and since the last appointment in March in which she told my mom she was helpless, she never once checked back in on her. Even after the IME results that she requested was done, there has been no correspondence from her. We will never recover from the neglect my mom experienced from Jenny. The emotional and financial toll it's taken on us, and will continue to impact us, will impact us for years to come.
REP physio has changed our lives so much. Ever since my mom also switched over, she has been recovering well. They are so professional, patient, encouraging, and they actually care about us, and our well being. I can't thank them enough.
