Avoid this service if you value your time and your vehicle.
I brought my Jeep Liberty 2004 (gasoline) here and waited two full days with no repair and no real diagnosis.
The mechanic claimed my Jeep has a timing belt instead of a timing chain, which is incorrect. He also stated the engine was cranking at 600 RPM, which is physically impossible. When I asked to see the diagnostic data, he refused.
During their work, the hex on one spark plug was stripped, creating a new problem.
Two days wasted, no results, and poor technical knowledge. Stay away.

Got a pre-purchase inspection done here a month ago. I got to meet the shop dog and they allowed me and my partner in the shop to see anything they recommended needing done and why. Very thorough and professional to deal with. Without an appointment, they still took great care and treated me with mutual respect (which is hard to find as a 5' female in her twenties). Amazing local business which I will refer friends to whenever I can! I live in Red Deer but would come back to them if I have any future problems if I'm being honest. Thank you guys so much!

Not trying to put down a small business, but I’ve now spent three full days of my life trying to get my car fixed - and what started as a 4-5 hour job ($600-$750) turned into a 20-hour quote ($3,000).
My first visit was at the beginning of September, recommended by a friend who said they were great mechanics. I came on a Friday around 2:30 pm and explained the vibration I felt through the driver’s seat and steering wheel. The reception guy (the “assistant director”) didn’t even take the car for a quick test drive and simply told me to come back and leave it for a day so they could investigate. Fair enough - we scheduled for the next week.
After arranging a ride and dropping the car off at 8 am, I got a call just an hour later: the owner concluded it was the engine mounts causing the vibration. He said the job normally takes around 17 hours but they could do it in 4-5 hours, which sounded reasonable. I agreed.
Later, I came to pick up the car and said I’d order the parts myself and return for the repair - which I did two weeks later. Again, I dropped it off early, arranged a pickup, and waited. Just an hour later, the “assistant director” called and said the labor would now take 20 hours and asked if I wanted to proceed. Seriously? After all the hassle and planning based on the original quote?
At that point, it clearly wasn’t worth it - but I couldn’t return the parts, so I lost another $200.
To add to this, when I took the car to a few other mechanics afterward, all confirmed the issue wasn’t the engine mounts at all - it was the suspension. They repaired it for a fair, realistic price, and the vibration was completely gone.
So my rhetorical question is: Why were you ready to charge me $3,000 in labor to replace parts that weren’t even faulty and wouldn’t have fixed the problem?
Despite all the time, money, and frustration, I’m writing this as a fair review, not out of anger. I truly believe the way you treat people is the way you’ll be treated in return. I just want others to make informed choices and always get a second opinion before committing to large repairs.
Being a Ukrainian auto service — and being Ukrainian myself — I had hoped for a better experience and mutual understanding, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

He checked my vehicle as free, and he was honest. But I can't say he was kind or friendly.

Just took my Audi here for a second opinion after being told I needed both control arms replaced at tuchi auto and it would cost 2400 dollars. The guys at Bird looked it over and told me nothing was even wrong with it and handed me the keys, even waived the inspection fee for me. Great guys all around will definitely be taking my car here when there’s a real problem and recommending this shop to everybody I know. Saved my day forsure. 11/10 experience

Excellent price and service! Got my brakes done with O.E audi pads for half the price of the dealership. Got my car back to me same day and tested my battery for no charge. Will be going to birds for all my future services. Makes me feel more comfortable owning an Audi knowing there is a good mechanic locally that specializes in german makes!

Incredibly professional and friendly service. They got my Corvette running perfectly when every other shop had given up. If you own an older/vintage performance vehicle there's no shop I'd trust more. Very reasonable pricing too. I can't recommend them enough!
