Bert’s is an excellent shop. The receptionist, Darlene, is a great communicator. She was straight me with about costs and the severity of the issue. The technicians correctly identified our problem (loose timing belt) and were able to take care of it in only a few days, which is impressive for such an invasive job.
The cherry on top for me was that when I arrived to pick our car up, Darlene had both faulty parts from our engine, the timing belt and one of the pulleys (pictured below), and explained how and why the timing belt was running rough. I called several tire stores too replace one of my toes that picked up a nail. I spoke with Bob, who was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile and called the manufacturer (Michelin) as there was an issue matching the tire with the others 3. FYI the tires the manufacturers supply for new vehicles are not exactly the same as when you purchase tires later on. The price was better than a big box tire supplier and after measuring the depth of each tire, one having more depth (replaced a year ago) he put that one on the front with the new one. A positive experience. I also liked they were a local and family owned business who also give to worth charitable causes

We followed Albert from his last mechanic position to when he started his business and have been with him ever since. His price is fair, and he is honest and won’t overcharge you. We recently had an expensive repair done, and we called around for comparison to find out he was very reasonably priced! We recommend his services if you want a fair, honest and reliable repair! And shout out to Tara his assistant! She’s great!
