I have no idea why this salon closed, but I am writing this review to leave my mark for any future clients who might be interested in booking with Doeun. Doeun completely ruined my hair. I showed her some photos which she looked at for 10 seconds at best, nodded her head and then proceeded not to say anything for the rest of the cut. I genuinely am unable to fathom how a "professional" stylist could look at the photos I showed and come up with the cut I received. The length was completely off, with her cutting it too short and lacking length on the sides. Yet the top was barely layered like the images I showed so my hair lays really flat. Worst of all, the cut itself doesn't look good as it doesn't know how it wants to lay and looks uneven, so I can't even say she gave me a cut that's better suited to my face shape. It almost feels like a twisted prank that I booked with Doeun on her last week before she moved to Vancouver and she left me with this. This is easily the worst haircut I have received in the past 2 years. Throughout all my years of bad haircuts they're at least salvageable, but not this one. The haircut Doeun gave me is impossible to style, I have to often spend 30 minutes in the morning trying to get my hair to corporate because she didn't add enough layers. She may as well have cut me an entirely different hairstyle. I'm pretty sure even she knew she messed up because I recall her saying nothing after finishing the cut and immediately trying to get me over to the reception desk before I could see myself properly. Overall, it came off like she did not want to be here (maybe that's why she moved) and you should avoid booking with her.

I recently ordered a shampoo and conditioner from this company. I don’t normally provide reviews on something I’ve ordered but their packaging deserves one! They use dissolvable packing peanuts and even their card they send you is a seed paper. Very happy with this sustainability! Great job!

Salon: Couple weeks ago was my first experience at Cobia and it was delightful. You walk in to a mini shopping space for your hair products and when escorted yo the other side is the Salon end. It's beautifully decorated and give a relaxing feel and professionalism. Everyone who works there are very nice and gives a welcoming experience.Hairstylist: I've had Anes as a Hairstylist for a few Years now and am always satisfied to have her do my hair and always happy to see her. She is so welcoming and informative. When I used to explain what I wanted, she was gave good input in the hairstyle and also gave results that were great. Now I briefly explain what I want and sometimes leave it up to her cause she knows my hair better then I do! I trust her very much and others should definitely go to her too.

I did my hair with Anes! She was AMAZING! She listened to what I wanted for my haircut and she definitely delivered! She knows exactly what she is doing so I took her suggestions as well. I asked for long layers and because I have fine hair she did them at the front so that my hair looks fuller at the back. The result is chefs kiss!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I highly recommend her. I had not had my hair cut by a professional in more than 15 years but seeing her work made me trust her!

Doeun is way to get my hair done. She will have my hair done perfectly without any hesitation. We try something special sometimes and she manages all my requests. The place is huge and comfortable. All other staffs are very friendly. I would highly recommend this shop to all.

The people are nice that work here but the colour and hair cuts are definitely not good. I paid over 300 for highlights with toner and cut. Within 2 weeks my hair colour went from ash blonde to bright yellow, and on top I had a lot of hair fallout.Will never come back again.

I’m glad that I got my hair appointment with Anes (aka 금손 ?) through my friend/Google reviews. She listened to what I wanted for my haircut, and she also gave good suggestions. I love how it turned out and got compliments too. Overall, my experience was great, and I would definitely come back. Highly recommend!!

Got my first haircut at Cobia Edmonton south common from Angelina today, great service and love the environment there, everyone is super nice. I want to try something new and fresh, so I let Angelina to decide what hairstyle I should get and the result came out super nice. I love it. Plus, the head massage's amazing! Thank you!
