My Westland Insurance Representative is Leanne Felix Karmazin. She is amazing and goes above every time I need her. Service Master Kamloops and Westland Insurance Kamloops. If I were asked to describe my experience with my insurance claim through Westland Insurance and Service Master, there is one word that I would use to explain the process from start to finish. That word is “EXTRA”. I had a small mishap, which caused my laminate flooring to start to pull up. I was unsure if this was a possible claim, but I thought I would just contact Westland and see what their thoughts were. I put in a message to Westland on Sunday afternoon, and by Monday morning at 9:00, I had a reply message, and by noon, they were at my home and going over the claim. Not even 24 hours later. That started a process that was so professional, I was given a complete daily schedule of what was to happen on each day moving forward. Everything was in a very timely manner, and the job would be completed in a couple of weeks. In that time, my father passed away, and I was concerned that having my home torn apart at the time of his service and my time of deep mourning would not be ideal. I was a bit worried to contact Service Master and ask about changing dates, but I messaged Rhiannon and explained my situation. Within minutes, she responded with such a heartfelt message that they would move up the dates to a time that worked perfectly for me. It was such a weight lifted off my shoulders. Rhiannon set up a brand new schedule, making sure it worked for me, also putting in the message if there was anything they could do to make things easier, I was just to ask. I felt valued; I was not just a customer. It made the entire process a very positive experience. Here is where the extra comes in. They came and took photos and moved my furniture out of the house into a bin on my lawn that they provided. The photos were so that when they moved things back in, they could put them right back where it was. That was something I had never heard of in any insurance claim before with friends or family. The first team came and removed the old flooring, removed doors and baseboard, that was done professionally, and they left everything spotless behind them. The flooring team from UNITED FLOORING in Kamloops then came and once again provided the utmost professional experience. Everything was tidy and neat at all times. They arrived promptly on time each morning, and they worked hard all day. Then the Service Master team came back to put on the doors and baseboards. They didn’t just put them back on; they brought them all back in from the bin, put them on, filled each nail hole, painted every baseboard, and caulked every baseboard. Once again, everything was left so neat and tidy. Once the floors were installed, the moving team came back right on schedule, and they didn’t just move the furniture back. They washed the windows, wiped down ledges and banisters, and washed, and wiped the floors down before anything was replaced. Each one of these team members was so personal, and you could tell they loved their job, and they were very happy to work for Service Master. I have heard so many horror stories about insurance claims, but this is not one of them. This was my first insurance claim on home damage, and I cannot say enough good things about WESTLAND INSURANCE, UNITED FLOORING, and SERVICE MASTER. Service Master will now come and do a walk-through with me to make sure we are 100% happy with everything. To say we are happy is an understatement. In a world where it seems like customer service is not being offered by so many companies, I wanted to do a shout-out, as this is the best customer service I have experienced.
