WOW. Lakeshore Optometry truly deserves all the praise. Dr. Blake Dornstauder is hands down the best optometrist in town. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely cared for. He is unbelievably gentle, patient, and kind, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that actually makes sense.
Not only did he get my glasses done quickly and at an amazing price (with every bell and whistle you could ask for), but he was also the first doctor who has ever corrected my double vision.. something I honestly didn’t think was possible. That alone was life changing. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, he was even excited to see how my new lenses worked for me!
The entire team at Lakeshore Optometry is just as incredible. Everyone made sure I was comfortable, shared plenty of laughs, and created such a warm, welcoming environment. Every single person there is a rockstar.
If you’re even thinking about going elsewhere... don’t. Lakeshore Optometry and Dr. Dornstauder are absolutely top-tier. I couldn’t recommend them more!

Friendly fast service. Had my ducts and furnace cleaned, a necessary (they found some gross stuff in the vents from the previous owners) service and they seemed to have done a nice job.
I recently visited Elevation Health for an acute issue that had become especially painful, and once again, I was incredibly well taken care of. I’ve been to Elevation in the past, so I was familiar with the clinic, and once again, they did not disappoint.
They were able to get me in right away, which is truly appreciated, especially in a small community where wait times can often be long. The staff went above and beyond to make it work, and I was so grateful for their flexibility and care.
I had my appointment with Bianca, who was extremely thorough and made me feel completely comfortable. Most importantly, she really listened and took the time to understand exactly what was going on. Her knowledge and expertise were evident, and I felt noticeably better leaving my appointment.
I’ll be returning for follow-up visits in the coming weeks, and I feel confident knowing I’m in such good hands. The education, exercises, and overall care provided have given me reassurance that I’ll be back to full mobility.

The studio was welcoming, tidy and calming. She was professional and communicative; after stating some areas of discomfort she recommended and provided an AMAZING massage. I love going to see Candice for my nails! I've never had a set last 6+ weeks without losing a nail (or four) or at the very least cracking a few. But when I see Candice, they always last. She is very knowledgeable, clean, and so incredibly creative. She's got so many options for colors, bling, foils, you name it - not to mention she's hugely skilled at free hand artwork! Huge shoutout to the kind photographer at Walmart photo centre in Cold Lake! The family and I were out grocery shopping yesterday when we were approached by the sweetest man offering a free family sitting at their studio. These sorts of things NEVER happen to us so we were beyond excited and accepted. The kids were in full exhaustion mode and were less than cooperative ? but I was so happy with how he captured their goofy personalities and took the time to take a couple of mom + dad too. It was such a wonderful gift and fun expirience for the family!

From the moment our dog needed multiple surgeries, the vet tech and doctor didn’t just provide care, they built a safety net around our entire family. Every step of the process felt thoughtful, thorough, and genuinely compassionate. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every single question we had (even the ones we asked twice), and made sure we never felt rushed or dismissed.
What truly set them apart was what happened after the surgeries. Their follow-up care was incredible. For weeks, they checked in on our dog and on us, making sure recovery was going smoothly and that we felt supported. That kind of dedication is rare and meant more to us than we can properly put into words.
One moment that will always stick with us: the vet tech stayed with our pup over their lunch break while she was waking up from sedation, just so she wouldn’t be alone or scared. That level of kindness speaks volumes about the kind of people they are.
They handled an incredibly stressful time for us with professionalism, compassion, and genuine respect. We always felt like our dog wasn’t just another patient, she was their patient, and they cared for her as if she were their own.

The therapist took the time to listen to the things I was experiencing and problem areas and was able to quickly and effectively determine what I needed most. in a emergency flooding when they got busy they made time for as many people as they could as fast as they could. the price was reasonable and they were able to get this job done in a short time. they were fast as fast as this job allowed and they were professional in the way they worked and communicated any problems they saw. they cleaned the sight after they finished so that the next crew could do their jobs as effectiveas they could. they gave advice to help keep flooding from happening again along with putting in the nessary weeping tiles and seeled the walls. I would highly recommend this company for anyone in need of foundation repairs
Everything you'd expect from a mechanic. In today's age its rare to see a mechanic under promise and outperform. I was expecting to receive ok service, ok tires in a way that it made me feel ok about everything becuase they are called ok tires. They outperformed because I felt better than ok. I felt rather good. 5/5
