My wife and I attended the Calgary Home & Garden Show and met Samim Sarwari from Reliance Home Comfort. We spoke about removing an older hot water tank and replacing it with a hot water on-demand appliance, as well as adding a water-softener and a reverse osmosis appliances. Samim was very knowledgeable about the products and happily answered unusual questions (does the salt in the water softener leech into the drinking water). He set up the appointment for the following week, but got a cancellation for the next day. He asked to move the appointment forward, something I happily agreed to. The installer showed up with all the materials needed to do the work. He was quick, friendly and very skilled. He demonstrated each bit of the equipment and answered all questions. Samim came by the house to oversee some of the installer's work, that it was on schedule and correct. They made a great duo. Samim also brought over some culturally different bread for my wife and I to try. This was a step above-and-beyond expectations. I would very much recommend Reliance for installing the equipment mentioned above and would whole-heartedly recommend Samim Sarwari as your point of contact. Having has other companies install equipment in our house, nothing comes close to the care and professionality than Reliance and Samim.
Daniel MacDougall who is the Senior Home Comfort Advisor for Reliant was great to deal with. The journey was to replace the 25 year old water tank (yes 25 year old!) via my neighbour who is a great plumber. But then I wanted to get central air and possibly replace the furnace. At that point in time, my plumber mentioned that Reliant was having a great sale for all that I wanted. So it was best to source Reliant out. I showed the quote to 2 of my electrician friends and they agreed, choose Reliant. They had all my new products installed professionally within 1 day (team of 3). I highly recommend Dan as the rep to contact and know that they provide great products at great prices with great service.
