I’m going to preface this by saying I have never left a review on any type of platform but I feel SO strongly about this that I just had to. Especially because I saw a previous review speaking poorly about one of the staff, which is incredibly hard for me to believe. I have been going to Mint Nail since they opened their shop in Country Hills 7 maybe 8 years ago now. I have actually followed Lisa to the Deerfoot location because I love her so much. I literally go out of my way to go see her, she’s that good. She is absolutely incredible. She is not only a magnificent nail tech but she is super kind, flexible, very accommodating and she actually cares about nail health. I have literally had every type of nail out there over the last 8 years (fake and natural) and I get compliments on my nails ALL THE TIME! When I say all the time I mean like almost every day or every other day. Especially if Lisa does a bio gel set for me. Every time I have a nude pink set or a baby boom set for vacations or special occasions random people will literally stop me and ask me who does my nails. Even when I get just a subtle nude shellac they look so clean and beautiful and look freshly done and stay on for weeks and weeks, people are always surprised when I tell them how long it’s been. I am soooooo picky!! When I say picky, I mean picky! I have made techs in the past take off and redo entire sets because I didn’t like how they looked. She always takes her time, shapes beautifully, does absolute perfect thickness (I like mine super thin so they don’t look bulky) and does perfect color. Even when I do shellac pedicures the shape and shellac are perfect! I usually do white (which I feel is the hardest color to make look flawless) and it’s always perfection. Like I’m not joking I could sell feet pics if I wanted to lol. I refuse to go anywhere else. Many years ago we took my besties entire bridal party to the country hills location for mani’s and pedi’s in the evening and they treated us like gold. It was such a fun experience! I highly recommend visiting Mint for yourself and making your own impression, I promise you won’t be disappointed. All the staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is great, the music is always good and the service is top notch!!!!

I moved into the NE and came across Mint. I decided to try the bio gel service and I am now a regular customer at Deerfoot. Lisa is a skilled technician, that delivers exactly what I want every time. Highly recommend! The staff are friendly, cheerful and it is a great bright space.

Let me tell you something. I got into a scooter crash. I passed out for half a minute, broke two teeth, my nose and fractured my hand. I had cuts all over my hands. And you know what? My nails stayed on. My beautiful, purple nails stayed on and didn’t even chip. Vivian does an amazing job! Would recommend to everyone. The nails are affordable and sooo worth it!
