Ashton did my VW VR6 cylinder head resurfacing, valve seats and valve assembly. Absolutely amazed by their professionalism and how much valuable advice i’ve got for assembly and other things. He did great job, very quick and organized. No delays or surprises. Was very honest and upfront about the cost. Highly recommend this shop. Hard to find honest and good experienced machinists
Nothing but good things to say about Frank and Ashton at Mdm. First time I used them was after the head gasket went on my 98’ Subaru, they decked, clean, pressured test the heads, replaced valves, resurfaced the fly wheel and honed the cylinders. On top of that they were happy with to give me lots of advice regarding putting the engine back together, as I was doing it myself, and even gave me a cell phone number to call at any point if I had a question during reassembly. I've been using MDM for a long time and have never been let down. Their turnaround time is very short and usually next day is available, at least for resurfacing and hot tanking.
