We have been friends and customers of Elmo and Irene since 1987!!!!!!!!! We followed Elmo’s Auto when they were in the NE and now travel to Douglasdale to have our vehicles serviced! Elmo and his sons Jesse and Russell continue to take incredible care of our Honda CRV and Toyota Tacoma truck! They are honest, professional and so reliable! I recently brought my 4Runner into Elmo’s Automotive for an oil change and a diagnostic inspection. Elmo was friendly and accommodating — he fit me in right away, which I appreciated.
However, while the service was quick, it felt rushed. Although the shop specializes in Toyotas, my impression is that it operates more like an oil change and parts replacement shop rather than a place to get to the bottom of more serious issues.

Elmo is my go-to mechanic. Elmo and his son have been working on my Toyota for four years now, and I am thankful to have a trusted mechanic like Elmo.
Elmo is honest and always does a great job. My Toyota is now over 300,000 KMs and still running fantastic. This is a testament to the work Elmo and his son have done.
