I was hired as a carpenter, to travel to and from yellowknife, building a huge assisted living and end of life care center. Right after being hired and flown up there in my first week i fell off a ladder AND dislocated my hip. Not good first impression. So they pay for my hotel and a few days off but within days of returning to work i get notice my brother died. They rush to send me home the fastest way which turned out to be first class through Vancouver. They don't even really know how I work yet.
