Tree killing was not requested in our cul-de-sac but they came and did it anyways. It was not dead, it was beautifully alive and well, wasn't near any power lines or houses. When these people are bored they make work. Too much clearing was done in our neighborhood. And they had left a mess including the stump.
We are not happy with the outcome after using ArborCare. We purchased 2 reasonably small trees for a “pretty penny” roughly 2 growing seasons ago. Both were supposed to be 2” caliper and to this day they are both just over 1” caliper. Also, it took ArborCare far too long to plant the trees. We engaged them in May, and the trees were planted in mid-summer in better than +30 temperatures and were told this should not affect the trees, simply make sure we water them. They bid my neighbors poplar for 4300. He did the easy parts and I took the rest down for 2 beers. Between the lift and dump trailer he came in about 800 bucks. Far cry from what they bid even if I charged my rate on the whole tree he would have still saved over 2500 bucks. Ridiculous.
