I received the best facial, microderm, eyebrow threading, eyebrow tinting, massage, mani, and pedi treatment to date.I have really sensitive skin and explained to them the level of sensitivity I have. And they heard my concerns. They adjusted the treatment to accommodate my skin type, and I left with zero reactions. It was sooooo relaxing. “TL:DR/Context- went for thermage consult, got fillersI stumbled upon MD Skin in a Google search of edmonton for places that could provide treatment to the area, thinking I would require some laser treatments and probably one with some significant down time due to the severity of my case.I chose to book a consult with them, which was delightfully easy with their online booking system, received a confirmation the following morning, showed up a touchy tardy, was met warmly by their receptionist, filled in their forms after being given a concise overview of the forms reasons and requirements, was taken in almost immediately to my appointment (again, I was late and they were exceedingly kind in spite of that!)I met with an assistant, who wanted to confirm my desired treatment and reasons why. I explained my biggest issue and she explained the 3 treatments that would be best suited, along with how each treatment worked, possible side effects from common to rare, and timelines. After explaining the benefits, cons, risks, etc of each treatment I realized I may want something different so they brought the dr in who also helped explain in depth and based on my person individual needs. I ended up needing to fill out a form I hadn't, as I didn't think I needed it, and needing some reference photos taken.I'm sure these are things that would have been done earlier if I had been on time and more sure of what I wanted, but they were so kind while efficiently getting what they neededI returned for the procedure after the photos and forms were done and was met with another assistant who gave me even more on depth knowledge of what was going to happen, what was being used, side effects that usually happens and many many many other side effects no matter how rare. She explained the aftercare, how long it would last, benefits, side effects, absolutely everything. The dr came in and they sat me down, iced the area, and the procedure began.I have -no- pain tolerance for surface pain, at all. So I found the procedure ranged from slight pin prick to deeper pressure style discomfort but I also had some sharper pings of pain. I focused on breathing and the dr and assistant checked in with me to see if I was on several times, explained as they went, talked with me or gave me space to just focus on breathing as they could see was needed, and then the entire thing. Both eyes, was done in maybe 5 minutes, being generous, as the dr was very precise and careful about her work and my comfort levels.Afterwards they showed me and asked my opinion, and im obviously thrilled since im writing a novel of a review, provided me an ice pack, another summary of after care, things to watch out for, and urged me to call if I was concerned at all since it was my first time and so I have no idea how my body will react, and I was out to reception.When there, the receptionist was very warm, polite, and professional. I paid for my service and was provided a coupon, an entry to a draw, and even told about and provided a brochure for a rewards program.The site has been sore, as any injection site would be, but with gentle cold application I haven't had swelling or bruising yet, 20 hrs later, but am over the moon with the results! I have been self conscious about my under-eye area my whole life, as I've struggled with dark circles, bags, hollows, and very prominent periorbital veins which have made me look significantly older than I am my whole life and no caffeine, vit c, or cold compress/eye treatment has ever made a significant difference. I'm absolutely floored at the immediate difference and so so so happy the staff were so knowledgeable about what would give the result I wanted, even if it wasn't the path I thought I needed to take.The entire experience was phenomenal and I will absolutely be going back! I highly recommend, for results, customer service, professionalism, and personability of each of the people I got to meet yesterday.“
