Excellent hang-out for veterans or civilians. Professional, courteous service, very nice food (the Reuben sandwich is the best in the Bow Valley) and low key entertainments such as Bingo on Thursdays and the traditional Legion Meat Draw on Saturday afternoons with a live musician playing old favourites.
Okay, it's been a few years since I visited. I used to sneak out of the Banff Springs to just relax. Keep in mind, my meals at the Springs were included but I got tired of $50.00 meals. The legion was my go to. Amazing button bones and inexpensive ?. beer
