Girlfriends and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the spa. It is clean, modern, and the treatments were great (especially the rejuvenating facial).
We were all extremely taken aback, however, when we checked out and were asked verbally to provide our gratuity to the front desk clerk, instead of choosing our gratuity when providing payment with the machine, like every other establishment. When two of us asked why we couldn't just add the gratuity on the machine, she said their system wasn't capable of that -- which is frankly unheard of, and honestly it felt crass. I took one star off for that -- it wasn't a great customer service experience.
It’s been several months since enjoying a massage @ the Meadow. I felt compelled to share my experience. It was the best massage ever!!, by “Leo”. His hands are magic. His deep tissue therapeutic technique helped me regain my mobility without aches & pains. I will def be returning when in Banff.
Planned in advance and booked a hot stone massage and body wrap on day 4 of 4 days of skiing in Banff. What a treat! You feel relaxed from the moment you enter the spa lobby. With access to the rooftop pools, sauna and hot tub only for spa guests, you step into an oasis in downtown. Incredible views from the hot tub and delicious tea and treats while you wait for your services. From the soft robe to the calm environment, they've thought of everything! Will definitely return!
