In my 36 years of playing golf this might have been my favorite round. Just a 5 star experience all around. Friendly staff, beautiful course, and the scenery is second to none. I was hesitant to spend the money but in all honesty it was 100% worth it no regrets whatsoever.
Located in Banff is a beautiful golf course with stunning views. Stanley Thompson Layout: Famed Canadian architect Stanley Thompson designed the iconic 18-hole layout in 1927–1928, framing every hole with dramatic mountain views of Mount Rundle and Sulphur Mountain.
This has been be the best course I have played in North America. Meticulously groomed fairways and greens.
I have the fortunate opportunity to play a lot of golf at some of the most beautiful courses available to me. Banff Springs was a bucket list course.
Cruising through Banff on route to Edmonton, I stopped in to buy some goods and ogle the course.
I was able to speak with the head of golf and he arranged a late tee time for me to go out and play the from 9.
The course was amazing - regardless of the rainy conditions and the staff were phenomenal. A huge shout out to Bailey. His early break down on what to look out for, inside tips on the course and overall demeanour made this Ontario resident and golf veteran feel like he was at his home course.
