“I had always taken Sophie to a daycare by my work, and though the people who work there are great, and love Sophie, it's just basically a place to hang out with other dogs. On recommendation from a friend, I decided to try Dogvana and am glad I did! About the second or third time I took her there, I noticed how excited she was when I dropped her off. She was whining to get out of the truck and had a spring in her step. I like that they actually work with the dogs and do activities with them throughout the day and its not just a place to hang out. The staff are all excellent and friendly and happy to see Sophie every time. I highly recommend to anyone. Also, their hours and rates are better than the place by my work!“

I board my large Redbone Coonhound at Room To Run, and I honestly could not ask for a better experience. If you have ever struggled to find a kennel that actually understands big, high energy breeds, Kim and her team get it.
What sets Room To Run apart is the space. Eight acres with multiple secure off leash yards means my dog gets to stretch out and burn energy, not just sit in a run all day. You can tell Kim has built this place around the dogs, choosing more yard space instead of packing in more runs. My big guy always comes home tired and happy, which tells me he was exercised and engaged the way he needs.
The facility is spotless. The runs are bright, well lit, and you can feel the pride in how well everything is kept. There is even music playing for the dogs, which is a small touch but it matters. The whole property out near Cayley is beautiful too. Wide open prairie views just feel right for a place like this.
I also respect that Room To Run supports Heaven Can Wait Animal Rescue. Knowing my money is going somewhere that helps animals get a second shot makes this more than just boarding.
The staff are friendly and sharp from the moment you check in. They take the time to learn your dog’s temperament and needs, and the team consistency is real. You see familiar faces, and that says a lot about the culture Kim has built.
Highly recommend if you are in the Foothills or south Calgary area. Book early though. They fill up fast for a reason.“
