These people could not have handled my situation any better. I had to put my bestest lil boy down and they were the best. I would 100% go to them for ANY of my vet needs.Dr. Stevenson is the best. For such a terrible situation she made it as easy and comforting as possible. Thank you very very much Dr. I couldn't appreciate you any more.

Bear River has treated me and my pets with respect and dignity. For example, Six years ago, I had to put one down due to age. They let me stay with him in their room until I was ready to come out. Then a year ago 2 days before Christmas, one was acting off and suffered a heart attack and died at home. When I called to ask them what to do, they walked me through it and met us out back by their barn and there to offer their help and support.To this day I continue to use them with my furry 4-legged companions. They are knowledgeable and answer my concerns and questions. I will continue to use them as long as I live in Evanston and recommend them. I can not speak highly...read full review

Friendly staff and freshly cleaned lobby were just a few of the highlights of our visit today. One of my dogs had to get his teeth cleaned and the vet was knowledgeable and she did an awesome job explaining what the game plan was. I would highly recommend this place. Five stars!
