My experience with Ellsworth Music has been wonderful. I was diagnosed with thymoma in February 2021 and had to be treated at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. with chemo and radiation. I then had to retire. While all this was going on my husband asked me what 2 things I would like to do now since I am retired. I said I wanted to learn how to swim and play the piano. I tried swimming but just could not master getting my head in the water. Oh well, I did try. My second choice was piano lessons. My son has been taking saxophone lessons with Pat at Ellsworth for years. Whenever we’ve needed supplies, music or repairs Ellsworth has had them and/or been able to repair our instrument.

I’ve enjoyed stopping by regularly to look at guitars, buy strings and other incidentals, as well as sheet music. They are very helpful and friendly. Bill Ellsworth, Luthier, has set up and repaired my guitars so that they play much better. My wife and I recently started guitar lessons that are both challenging and entertaining. We are so glad to have Ellsworth’s conveniently at hand. Oh — I must mention they have a wide variety of other instruments too, and many qualified instructors.
