“When I was first considering trying Warrior Body, I felt comforted by photos that included a LOT of women moving heavy things and by the Pride flag on the wall. Since starting the intro class, I have felt just as included, safe, and challenged as those photos hinted I would be.
Joining a gym as a beginner can be intimidating, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have really been able to see the progressive overload built into the program, and my Coach (Janelle!) is careful to explain & demonstrate thoroughly every time, correct our form, help us find modifications for our body structure or physical limitations, and challenge us to do more in a really gentle and encouraging way. I don't think I realized how much this meant to me until I started writing because I started crying while doing so ??.
